Chelsea Hockridge
Teacher in Manitoba, Canada
Mother. Wife. Educator. Graduate of the Masters of Education degree program through Brandon University, specializing in Curriculum and Pedagogy. During my graduate studies (and still true today) the topics of literacy, technology, teacher collaboration and leadership were of particular interest.
Since graduating from the University of Manitoba (B.A.) and Brandon University (B.Ed), I have been back teaching in my rural Manitoba hometown; teaching a wide range of subjects at the Grade 5-8 level as well as supporting students as a Resource Teacher. Currently, I am a Divisional K-12 Literacy Coach and Elementary RTI Support Teacher. As well, I chair the Professional Development committee for our school division and sit on our local Teachers' Association executive.
I have a love for and fascination with history. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters, reading, running and cooking. My family and I also raise a fold of Registered Highland Cattle.
