Behind the blog "contourandconfessions" lies two authors/best friends (or "soul-sisters" as they like to call it) : Chelsea Jones and Joelle Brunson. Both natives of NC. Chelsea works as an Esthetician, and Joelle as a LMT.

Fun Facts about the two: In 2005 : Chelsea transferred to Charles E. Jordan High for her sophomore year of High School. In hopes to make the best out of her new transition, Chelsea enrolled in a Dance class. On the very first day of that class, the teacher arranged an ice-breaker activity for the students. She instructed each student to discreetly choose one other student in the class who they seemed to have the least in common with. Uneasy and unfamiliar with her surroundings, Chelsea looked around the classroom. There sat a bubbly, frizzy-haired red-headed girl with freckles. "We can't possibly have anything in common." Chelsea thought to herself. Once everyone selected a classmate, the teacher then had everyone partner up with that person. You may have guessed by now who it was Chelsea picked. You guessed, right! It was: Joelle Brunson! Uninformed that their mothers were already acquainted and the two had actually spent lots of time together as younger children (but were too young to remember) Chelsea and Joelle grew to become best friends. Lots of memories were made between the two. From prom, to graduation, from college, to becoming roommates. You name it. However, after college graduation, the two took separate paths and moved out of their apartment they once shared together and began living in two separate cities. Yet, somehow along the way their separate paths managed to intertwine, yet again! 3 years down the road! Chelsea pursued her interest in Esthetics where she became a Skincare Specialist, and Joelle became a Licensed Massage Therapist. With both of them having dreams of owning their own business in their respective fields; once the two reconnected again.. *voilà* contourandconfessionswas born.

The two soul-sisters aspire to work together to educate and enlighten other women who are much like themselves about the importance of self-care, self-love and total body wellness (with a touch of wit & sass). Stay tuned! This is only the beginning :)
