A design student, environmentalist, believer, wanderer, wife and cat-lover.

I spent 3 years pouring myself into foster kids. My heart broke a million times. I hit burn out and realized my career choice wasn't for me. I quit my job, moved down to New Zealand 9 months with my husband to be a high school tutor, and I came back to Vancouver to start Design school (interior design). I'm a 30 year old student (waiting tables in the evenings and on weekends)- navigating a career change. The journey to establishing a career I will love, and thrive in, is beyond stressful, exciting, intimidating and (hopefully) rewarding.

My life goal has always been the same: to enrich other peoples' lives and to be enriched in return. Somehow I'm going to find a way to combine my love for people with my passion for design and creativity (design psychology, therapeutic design?).

My blog is a collection of inspirations and obsessions. A work space of design, art and ideas and a fascination with the good details of life.
