I'm a UMass Amherst alumni graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders. I have a love for Speech Language Pathology and am planning on persuing my Masters later in my carreer. I am currently working as a Autism Specialist working in Early Intervention with REACH Autism Services, a branch of ServiceNet; Innovative Mental Health and Human Services.

Watching people gain a desire to communicate and find their voice is one of the largest passions in my life. I have watched children both struggle and succeed to successfuly interpret and interact with the world around them. The reactions I've seen when they finally break through those walls and find common ground, is unparalleled to anything I've experienced before

I have also learned how to interact with the world in a new way following the shooting that occured Sandy Hook Elementary School on 12.14.13. I am very proud to be from Sandy Hook and avidly voice the message of love and acceptance of various speech and autism spectrum disorders in memory of two children who died in the shooting who recieved aid from Speech Language Pathologists.

Following this life changing event I found myself at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, across the street from the location of the second bomb. I consider myself very blessed to have gotten out of that sitation safely.

Through these experiences I have become a resilient, strong and determined individual. Set on creating a life worth living and following my passions with reckless abandon.

In my spare time I love reading, trying new foods and attempting crazy DIY projects I find on Pinterest. I most recently made coasters out of an old map and tiles!
