Chelsea Brown

Hello, I am a senior at the University of Georgia pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am currently looking forward to attending nursing school in the fall. After nursing school, I will be looking for a role in Psychiatric Nursing.

Since I was a child, I have had a strong passion for helping others and a desire to enter the healthcare field. Through my work with St. Jude Children's research hospital and the UGA Microbiology Peer Tutoring program, I have developed strong leadership and communication skills that are needed to enter this field. Psychiatric services are extremely important now more than ever, therefor I want to provide a safe environment for growth and rehabilitation. Throughout my career, I hope to work towards limiting the stigma surrounding mental health and provide adequate healthcare for all.
