Chelsea is the Founder and CEO of Dog Parker, a pay-by-the-minute dog parking service. Dog Parkers are RFID lock-enabled, temperature controlled, and webcam-monitoreddoghouses. Our single-occupancy doghouses provide secure ‘dog parking’ outsideof businesses where dogs are not allowed.
Prior to starting Dog Parker, Chelsea Brownridge was an organization development consultant and project manager for nonprofits and social impact organizations and a co-director at Ignite Good. She specializes in organization culture development, focusing on building innovative, creative and collaborative cultures for organizations in the social impact space.
Chelsea also worked at Ashoka—Innovators for the Public, a nonprofit building the global citizen sector through a fellowship of social entrepreneurs. As the Manager and then Director of Operations and Culture for the Ashoka Changemakers' program and a member of the senior leadership team, she focused on culture development, talent recruitment and orientation, financial management and change management.
Chelsea graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in economics and a minor in environmental studies and has an MPA from NYU's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service specializing in management and organization development.
