Hi! My name is Chelsea Gant and I am currently a Journalism student in the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin. I have always had a strong passion for writing. My fortunate experiences and extensive involvement within the performing arts has led me to develop a deep interest in the music and entertainment world and due to growing up in Texas I have also become an avid sports fan! Journalism has given me a way to combine my love for writing, entertainment and sports; I hope to eventually report on both topics. I am primarily interested in broadcast journalism, however, I would never turn down an opportunity to write.

I have previous experience in writing several articles for Buzzfeed as well as having a presence on various social media platforms for many years. I am also an Executive Producer for a Music Entertainment television show called Austin Underground for Texas Student Television at UT-Austin.
