Chelsea Hejny is a published social media writer for ShortStack, a Facebook platform-based application helping businesses build customized apps for Facebook Pages that maximize their social media presence and potential.

Hejny is the former president of the American Marketing Association at the University of Nevada, Reno. There she competed in three national Intergrated Marketing Communication competition plans, working with such clients as Nissan, Nintendo and Pearson.

In 2012, Hejny also competed in three accredited entrepreneurship competitions with the company Modphalt. For both the Sontag Entrepreneurship business plan competition and the First Look West Clean Energy competition, Modphalt placed in the finals.

In the final rounds of competition, Hejny, along with her three other business partners, traveled to the University of Southern, California and The California Institute of Technology to present their business plan to industry leaders and venture capitalists.
