Chelsea Lauro

Hello, I'm Chelsea Lauro, a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with concentrations in Pre-medicine and Neuroscience. I am hoping to attend medical school and achieve my lifetime goal of becoming a physician.

I am motivated, compassionate, and understanding individual which grants me a lot of success in my day-to-day interpersonal interactions. In my education as well as my professional life, I am responsible for my own success and put a lot of pressure on myself to achieve my goals.

My experiences as a research assistant in the Cognition and Action lab at Umass, as Vice President of External Philanthropy on the Executive board of the Sigma Delta Tau sorority, and my work with a non-profit organization that I co-founded, have all instilled in me a passion for helping others, an interest in Neurological Research, and a strong leadership ability.
