Chelsea Arnett

I am a school librarian working in the Saint Louis area. This is my first year as a librarian, but I worked as a library assistant for two years and have worked as a clerk in public libraries. My library services grades 6-12, I love creating reading displays and promotions to inspire students to read.

Currently, I am in my final home stretch to finish my MLIS at the University of Central Missouri with only two classes left to complete. I'm excited to be done, but I've been a student for the last 6 years and I'm not sure if I'll know how to function without homework!

In my personal life I live with my boyfriend, our 1-year-old son, and our two dogs. While our son keeps us pretty busy, we're both gamers and love to sneak game time in whenever possible. And, of course, I'm an avid reader. A few of my absolute favorite books are pictured in my "shelfie".
