I studied Pre-medicine in undergrad, but instead of going to medical school like I originally intended, I went on a 4 year solo trip around the world. This led me to visit over 50 countries.

3) Cape Town, South Africa

5) Anywhere in Italy, literally :) (have to stay loyal to my roots!)

What I am doing now:

Marketing and Public Relations! I just graduated Magna Cum-Laude with my Masters Degree in Public and Organizational Relations. *Phew - breath of relief! Now I am searching for a career in a communications role - *Gasp - breath of anticipation!

I am well versed in research techniques, familiar with blogging, great with client relations, and above all, I am flexible and a fast learner. I have experience in start-up marketing and PR campaigns, as I was the head of Marketing and PR for a boutique furniture hire and events company in Cape Town, South Africa. I was responsible for determining the target market, building and maintaining business relationships, as well as creating all of the marketing and promotional material. I love social media and constantly keep up to date with the most current social media trends. I also understand the value of social media, and I believe that organizations need to utilize it more effectively to engage their publics in meaningful conversations about products and services.
