Chelsey Abate
Hamden, CT
Chelsey Abate is currently a student at Quinnipiac University where she is working towards obtaining her Master's Degree in Public Relations. She graduated from Quinnipiac in May 2015, where she studied Public Relations and Psychology. Chelsey was also a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, whose philanthropic focus is the fight against domestic violence. She also participated as a committee member for the sorority's philanthropy event, Frisbee Fest, which raises over $20,000 each year.
In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys riding her Morgan horse, Winston. She has been competitively showing Morgan horses since 2005 and these competitions have required her to travel all over the country in order to showcase her passion. When she isn't competing, Chelsey also loves to spend time with her friends and family.
Chelsey hopes to one day work as a PR specialist for a fashion company in New York City or California.
