Chelsia Sequoya Bryan

Chelsia Sequoya Bryan won Miss Black Prince William Co, in the Miss Black Virginia USA Scholarship Pageant in 2010. Chelsia Sequoya Bryan, is a born again believer who learned to put God first at a very young age. God has blessed her with the voice of an angel. Chelsia Bryan's achievements have merited a nomination in the Who's Who Among American High School Students and Professional Business Owners. This rare treasure has a heart as big as the world. If there is a benefit for children, Chelsia tries to support it. At five years old Chelsia was asked to sing a solo in her church. What came out her mouth changed her whole world. "I know what I want to do when I grow up," she said to her mother. "I want to make people feel happy when I sing." In other words, Chelsia already loved people...all kinds of people any age, any color. At the age of seven she made her first music video. That video opened many opportunities for her to sing in the community. Chelsia performed in New York City, on "The Apollo Kids show." She also performed at the age of twelve on "Star Search," the next big star show. By then, people from all over the tidewater area requested her performance. Many know Chelsia Bryan as a consummate entertainer, and that is true. Since she was a young girl, she has been singing, performing, and entertaining. At age sixteen, she began to use her talent to reach teens in schools, community contests, and in fundraiser events. In 2002,Chelsia was awarded the WAVY-TV 10 Young Achiever award. Not stopping there, Chelsia later performed at Norfolk State University in a program for Senator Yvonne Miller. In Chelsia's high school she won outstanding soloist of the year for two years in a row. Still captivating her audiences throughout the Tidewater area. She was nominated to represent the State of Virginia in the "Miss Charm pageant 2005 for the church of God in Christ." With that title at the age of seventeen, she spoke to many youth groups about achieving their goals and keeping their lives clean from sin. But as magnificent as she may sound, when meeting her in person you'll see in her smile, that at heart Chelsia's still a very humble worker for the lord. Miss Bryan has spoken to youth everywhere about the out of control behavior that has caused a high teen pregnancy rate. Chelsia plans to graduate in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry Management at Ferris State University. There is so much more, and not enough space....
