I am currently on year 6 of teaching; teaching Grade 1/2 French Immersion. I am co-teaching this year, sharing both an in-person class and an online class. A little taste of both! As many of us have, I have taught myself many things tech-related, in the past year. I am impressed with myself and how far I've come since last March with the online teaching world. I am looking forward to exploring and learning about new tech resources to use both online and in the classroom! I believe incorporating technology in the classroom is a must. We are surrounded by technology and if we don't include it in our teaching, we are not preparing our students for the real world.
My interests include hiking, water sports, dogs, all things nature related and travelling (oh how I miss travelling). I so miss field trips with my class - I love the hands on experiences!
