Chemeketa Agricultural Sciences

The AgriBusiness Management program at Chemeketa Community College focuses on the basic principles of agricultural recordkeeping and financial management. We provide business education for owners, family members and key personnel.

Horticulture is the science and art of growing, maintaining and using plants in managed landscapes. At Chemeketa Community College, we offer a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in horticulture.

The Wine Studies Program consists of three degree tracks: Vineyard Management, Winemaking, and Wine Business, and is a recognized leader in hands-on learning and education. We operate the Northwest Wine Studies Center at Chemeketa Eola. The program and center, which includes vineyards planted with cool climate grapes and a commercial-sized working winery, provides a unique opportunity for instruction and hands-on training.
