Hi, I’m Annie Chen. I’m currently a first year undergraduate student studying Business Economics and Comparative Human Development at The University of Chicago.

I can normally be found curled up in bed, reading a good book and munching on dark chocolate, my favorite food. I also love listening to all sorts of music. During my free time, I can be found appreciating calming piano music and also jamming to loud music from my favorite bands.

At Troy High, I have been a member of the varsity tennis team for four years and am a captain. I am also the co-secretary of French Club. Furthermore, I am the vice-president of Read and Repeat, a club that was founded this year and focuses on improving literary for ESL learners and students from immigrant families.

When I'm not at school, I love to spend my free time cooking dishes from all over the world, ranging from the traditional Chinese dishes of my culture to the macarons of France.

I love traveling and experiencing new countries and their traditions. My dream is to travel across the world and interact with all sorts of people and cultures.

I love learning about new things, and I'm excited to dive into the diverse future I have envisioned for myself.
