Over the last decade, there has been a shift in the way innovation and economic growth evolved this change is no more apparent than in New York City. A new breed of business has began to bloom. These businesses are flat in their hierarchy, dynamic in their adaptability, and innovative in their thinking. They are not afraid to do things differently – and utilize technology that lowers barriers to entry into markets once thought the domain of big business.
EXPERIENCE:
I have had the amazing opportunity to be active in this innovative wave of entrepreneurship sweeping the Big Apple from its earliest stirrings in the dot com boom of the late ninety's. However, although the market was changing around us, I found that the infrastructure needed to support this new flexible breed of businesses was lacking. That is why in 2001 I set out to found Sunshine Suites along with my best friend and business partner Joe Raby. Through Sunshine, we pioneered a model of collaborative business communities which provided entrepreneurs the space and resources they needed in an adaptable and flexible way that was designed with these new breed of businesses in mind.
WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
Since 2001 Sunshine has enabled me to work with thousands of small business and entrepreneurs on businesses operating in a variety of different sectors. Utilizing my knowledge and experience, I now help guide entrepreneurs through the common pitfalls that cause so many start ups and small businesses to fail. Through my executive consulting services I create a foundation of structure for start ups which give entrepreneurs a pathway for success in an ever changing marketplace.
