Dr. Cheong Thong is a full-time Orthopedic medical surgeon, a field nurse, and a medical assistant chief surgeon for the MSF medical support teams with over 18 years in the medical field.

To work as an Orthopedic surgeon doctor over 18 years after finishing his medical training program, he had to go for a medical field nurse training course which he is still current on at this moment.

Being a field nurse and a medical surgeon at the same time has been quite an experience for him, he had to travel, practice in the field rendering medical aids and giving an impact on the world.

He has other working experience, like business marketing. It is unbelievable to say this, because he had never had to work in any business organization.

He finished his university education at a very early age before he started his doctoral program. There was a medical program in his school back then where students who were interested in medical field training were all present, since the program was free then and if you got to involve in most of their exercise, you could gain the opportunity of free scholarship on the medical training program.

He always got involved in it, that’s how he got his first degree in the medical field of nursing, then later finished his medical program and immediately got an offer to work in one of the world's biggest medical organizations in the United States of America.

He had worked in several medical training programs like the American Red Cross, Oxfam, and now currently working under the MSF over the years before he got a direct contract from the US Army organization to work in Jordan as a chief Surgeon doctor on a one-year contract.
