Cheri started KidzFirst in 2004 to help families and organizations raise healthy Kidz. Cheri has worked with children for over 40 years and is passionate about their healthy development.

KidzFirst has provided museum education, art instruction, parties, summer camps, events, respite care, homeschool tutoring, professional development for educators and parents, and more.

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, Cheri has worked in licensed child care for all age groups, including Waldorf and Montessori programs; as a supply DECE in Full Day Kindergarten; as a Home Visitor for licensed Home Child Care; and taught in the Fleming College ECE program.

Now an Early Intervention Specialist/Resource Consultant (RECE, ECRC), with an Honours Bachelor in Early Childhood Studies and a Basic Provider Certificate in DIRFloortime, she is currently providing early intervention services, DIRFloortime, developmentally supportive programs, and developmental screening.
