Cheri has worked with children for over 35 years and is passionate about their healthy development. She also has many years' experience in management, administration, events, theatre, not-for-profits, and teaching adults.
Cheri started KidzFirst in 2004 to help families and organizations raise healthy Kidz. KidzFirst has provided museum education, art instruction, parties, summer camps, events, respite care, and more.
Now a Registered Early Childhood Educator and Resource Consultant (RECE, ECRC), with an Honours Bachelor in Early Childhood Studies, Cheri has worked in licensed child care for all age groups, Waldorf and Montessori programs, Full Day Kindergarten and as a Home Visitor for licensed Home Child Care. She is currently providing respite and homeschool support for children and young adults with disabilities and teaching at Fleming College.
