Cherisse got her start in social media in the beginning of 2010 in Vancouver, BC. Working with True North Media House and Static Photography under the instruction of online powerhouse and over all badass Kris Krug, she fell in love with the power of the internet. Seeing first hand the speed and strength that online free media had during the 2010 Olympic games, she went on to make it a career.

Later, after moving to Seattle, she began working with companies in the roller derby community to build up her skills and resume. Now, 3 years later, her skills have developed, her passion has grown and she is ready to take on the next challenge.

After spending a year living in Sweden, Cherisse recently moved to the San Francisco- Bay Area.

"I believe social media is a powerful tool. When used correctly, it helps your customers see the human side of your business. Helps you to remain approachable, but most importantly, it starts conversations. Rather then using Twitter and Facebook to sell your product or brand, it should be used to build a community, with you at the center. In the long run, that will be what grows your brand most and builds lasting relationships with your customers." - Cherisse
