Cheryl Davis

Cheryl A. Davis is an actress, writer, producer, director, model and educator. She is a graduate of Barbizon Modeling School in Raleigh NC. She has an BA. in English/Psychology from Fayetteville State University and has also studied at UNC Wilmington. While studying at UNC Wilmington, she had the opportunity to be an extra in many productions including Dawson's Creek. After leaving Wilmington ,she continued to act as an extra for television, plays and movies. She has shared the stage with many greats such a Ben Stiller, Taye Diggs, Gerald Alston and Carl Payne.
She has taught English to all age groups ranging from 18 months to 80 years old. She worked as a teacher and an Adjunct Professor for many years before leaving to pursue her career. She currently owns and operators Cheryl Davis Productions. Her production company produces family friendly entertainment and spreads the message of faith through media. Her company has been in existence for over twenty years.
She has written several plays to include; Love on the Other Side of the Game, Love's Last Victim, Oh Ye of Little Faith and Jesus Christ, The True Emancipator. Her current production is entitled When A Good Girl Loves A Bad Boy. This production discusses untreated mental illness in African American community. She is also a published author. She has written a book of poetry entitled From My heart to yours.... with love.
In addition to her many obligations, she still takes time to give back to her community. She is also the Executive Director of The Cheryl Davis Foundation. The foundation currently operates The Davis House, a transitional home for homeless or misplaced individuals.
Cheryl has been a member of Urban Playwrights United under the direction of Ms. Vanessa Lynn since 2011. She currently services as the Membership Director for organization.
Cheryl is also an ordained minister in the Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Churches. She is a member of Charity Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop, Dr. Calvin E. Davis, Pastor.
