Co-Founder and Biz-Dev in Santa Monica, California
I'm an eco-conscious resident of a beach community on the edge of a metropolis. Enough about.me... Just kidding. Ok... not kidding. It's all about You, Me & Our Community - and now, about us nurturing a seedling of a company to grow to become a thriving social venture.
VeggiDome is an infant. We are a social venture bringing to market a consumer product that I believe will serve people very well. The VeggiDome keeps vegetables crisp in its dome on the table or counter. That means you'll see your veggies and eat them every day... so you won't forget about them in the fridge... so you will save money... then you will be more trim without an effort... and you'll lose weight because you're munchin' down on crispy sweet luscious... whatever... from the VeggiDome. Now, consider the impacts we can make for so many people. If you get it, lean in. Please.
The good life in Silicon Beach = blessings = gratitude. From health & wellness, arts & cultural growth to social justice & homelessness = many causes to stir our passions. VeggiDome giving will be just one measure of its impacts.
Today, I am most satisfied using my marketable skills to support transformative change, causes & connecting dots for those doing good work. You have seen me:
~ with changemakers @ExpertDoJo @VeggiDome to transform the way we store and eat our vegetables = living longer & healthier lives
~ at LA City Hall at the annual arts for LA event = advocating for the arts or Make Music LA to celebrate music & arts education
~ volunteering for the American Heart Association = helping to wipe out the number one killer worldwide: Heart Disease!
~ advocating on behalf of the Los Angeles World's Fair
~ volunteering at the Google Venice campus at the Annual Venice Art Walk & Auctions = supporting Venice Family Clinic
~ serving on the Host Committee for the annual LA Green Festival
~ in a filmed testimonial screened at graduation from my studies in the distinctive UCLA Extension Certificate in Fundraising Program. I spoke of my mother's influence, her fundraising for the American Heart Association & passing the torch to me - a packed Royce Hall let out a collective "Awe."
