Cheryl Sola

Hello dear reader,
My native state is North Carolina, growing up in Durham. My dad was one of the forming members of the Duke Ball Club, and he had season tickets (yay for me! I got to go to some of the Blue Devil basketball home games as a child).
At the age of fifteen, my family relocated to Los Angeles, California, where I lived for nearly thirty years. I attended Los Angeles City College for two years, got married, and raised two boys, while working in L.A. Law as a legal secretary / paralegal. I was in the top one percent of my game and it was a blast!

When y2k was on the horizon, I relocated to rural southwest Virginia, where I still live, somewhere southwest of Roanoke, Virginia.

Twelve years ago, I started a preparedness website called apocalyptichousewife.angelfire.com(it's still there) to help people become self-sufficient since our world was becoming increasingly uncertain post-911.

In 2010, I started an upgraded website at earthchanges.ning.com, and inhabited it through the end of 2015.
In September 2015, as various factors changed, I felt another platform would be better, so I began this website.
As for education, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University (2013) , and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte (2015).

I'm currently back at the community college level adding some "Author Finishing" classes (in oral interpretation and art for illustrating my stories), and will at long last finalize an Associates in Arts degree (that I never finalized at Los Angeles City College). Yes, I tend to go out and DO, then go find out how, :D.
