Never give up! Real estate investing is not a simple thing to jump into. There's a lot to learn, and you should expect quite a few bumps and bruises along the way. But with patience and increased skills from playing the game, you'll become better and better at it.
Know that you need a good team to get involved in real estate investing. At a minimum, you need a Realtor, accountant and a lawyer you can all trust. You might even need an investor or a party of fellow investors. Reach out through your personal connections to find individuals who will not let you down.
You don't want to waste too much time managing your real estate property. Your time is valuable and you aren't looking to be babysitting tenants. Avoid college rentals, bad neighborhoods, and vacation rentals. Always invest in properties that carry a strong, tenancy history.
