Cheryl Pruitt is an American educator who most recently served as the CEO of the nonprofit Chicago Virtual Charter School in Chicago, Illinois. She was the finalsuperintendent of the Gary Community School Corporation before it became thefirst school district in Indiana involved in a state takeover.
