I am a Community Builder, policy advocate, person-centered practitioner, trainer and frequent public speaker on topics that affect people with disabilities and their loved ones. I freely share my own journey as a parent of an adult severely impacted by autism.

My son's story of abuse led to the creation of “Nicky's Law” in Massachusetts, which established an abuser registry to prevent abusers from working with vulnerable citizens.

My favorite description of myself is "Change Agent and Positive Agitator" - both describe me perfectly. I build communities of support for individuals and caregivers. I am a practitioner of inclusive practices across the lifespan, but my focus is on stewarding the humanity of the person first.

My long-standing commitment to the autism and intellectual disability community in New England has branded me a leader and advocate recognized around the country.

My next step: a federal abuser registry to protect all vulnerable populations who rely on caregivers for their health and dignity of life.
