Chester Ng
Founder and Investor in San Francisco, California
I'm a general partner at Atomic, the venture studio that founded and funded companies like hims & hers, Bungalow, Terminal, TalkIQ (acquired), and Zenreach. We start companies and invest in them from a $150M fund backed by Marc Andreessen, David Sacks, Peter Thiel, and top institutional LP's.
I've been a serial entrepreneur for a couple decades, building companies from "idea on a napkin" to IPO. On my way to Atomic, I had a brief crash course in VC at Trinity Ventures, the 30-year young firm behind great companies like Starbucks, Zulily, and New Relic. Prior to that, I spent 7 years as co-founder of one of the first app distribution companies SweetLabs, backed by top investors like Bessemer, GV, and Reid Hoffman, which we grew from scratch to a growth stage company. Before that, I spent 7 years as an early executive at DivX, a video tech company we took public with a peak market cap of $1B and was eventually acquired.
I currently live in San Francisco with my wife and two daughters, but have spent most of my life in sunny San Diego and LA (go Clippers!).
