Founder and Investor in San Francisco, California
Chester Ng is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience leading business development, sales, and marketing for technology startups of various shapes and sizes – from “ideas on a napkin” to billion dollar public companies. Chester is a partner at Atomic, where he is founding, funding, and growing companies across consumer, enterprise, and digital health.
Chester was most recently an entrepreneur-in-residence at Trinity Ventures, the venture capital firm with early stage investments in Starbucks, New Relic, Zulily. Previously, he was the co-founder and chief business officer at SweetLabs, an app distribution company he helped build from scratch to high 8-figures in revenue and over 1 billion apps installed for partners like Amazon, Google, Lenovo, and Microsoft. Prior to that, Chester was an early business development and sales lead at DivX, a video technology company he helped grow to a public company with over $100M in revenues, 300 employees, and a peak market cap of $1B before it was acquired for $326M.
Chester now lives in Redwood City with his wife and two daughters but has spent most of his life in sunny San Diego and LA. He graduated magna cum laude from UCSD with a B.S. in management science, but learned much more interning for startups while he was supposed to be in class. Chester is also a foodie, basketball fan, and Clippers diehard (sorry Warriors fans).
