Chester Veal
Chester Veal has led a successful career in the health sector, and more recently, in financial securities. Mr. Veal is currently the President and CEO of Options Investments 521, LLC, which he established in 2009. Mr. Veal’s company focuses on trading equity options and raising money from accredited investors to invest in a program of micro-credits for entrepreneurs in developing nations. Before founding the Wyoming-based Options Investments 521, Chester Veal served as Managing Partner and Options Principal at Lord Jireh Investments, LLC, where he analyzed financial statements and derivatives to build a portfolio used to establish a micro-finance program in developing nations. Chester Veal also possesses considerable experience in the health care and health management fields. From 1996 to 1998, he served as Vice President and Director of The University Hospital at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). While at UMDNJ, Mr. Veal created and implemented performance measurements and performance monitoring tools. Mr. Veal showed innovative leadership and helped to end a two-year stalemate between the City of Newark, New Jersey, and UMDNJ for the provision of emergency medical services. During Mr. Veal’s tenure as a Managing Partner at Icarus Genesis Co., LLC, of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, he helped secure a $250,000 management contract with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc. Mr. Veal also used cutting-edge technology to assist Harvard Pilgrim physicians and administrators with developing a virtual network without the acquisition of hard assets. This network served as the template for the integration of Harvard Pilgrim’s other functions.
