Chet Seely

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Independence Energy Alliance was co-founded in 2011 by Chet Seely, who graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with an MBA. Chet Seely's role as Managing Director allows the independent energy provider to do more than just offer its customers two choices for renewable energy services. It also reaches potential customers through a multi-level marketing strategy designed by Seely that is structured to ultimately provide customers with income.

Seely's leadership helped to build two companies that he worked for into some of the world's leading network sales and marketing companies. Previously, Seely served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at a wellness products company, Isagenix, which directly sells its goods exclusively through a worldwide network of associates. Prior to working for Isagenix, Chet Seely spent eight years in various executive positions at Melaleuca, Inc., a home products manufacturer and developer. As Vice President of Sales and later, as Vice President of the company's Asia division, he led large sales groups of up to 200,000 associates throughout North America, as well as in both Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan.

Seely's network marketing and referral plan for Independence Energy Alliance's products led to the company's acquisition by NRG Energy in New Jersey. Listed in the Fortune 500, NRG is a leader in developing renewable energy sources in an industry that is traditionally supported by fossil fuels. Under Chet Seely's leadership, Independence Energy Alliance is now a part of the NRG Energy family of energy sources for homes and businesses.
