"Hate to Hope" 6th Annual Diversity Walk-Rally

"Hate to Hope" 6th Annual Diversity Walk-Rally at Alberta Legislator on Saturday, August 19. This year our local group "Hate to Hope" aligned ourselves with World Humanitarian Day which is a day dedicated to recognize humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes.

With the surge in hate threatening immigrants, women, LGBTQ people, First Nations, Homeless and other marginalized groups, participation in our community rally for diversity and social justice has never been more important!

"Hate to Hope" 6th Annual Diversity Walk-Rally is calling on civil-rights and faith leaders, youth service organizations, students, educators, community and women's groups, families, and our corporate social responsibille enities (CSR, also called corporate conscience, corporate citizenship or responsible business) to take a step in the right direction and fight the rising tide of hate consuming our nation.

Hate to Hope" 6th Annual Diversity Walk-Rally helps raise funds to support much-needed organizations that help our most vulnerable. In 2014 organizer Chevi Rabbit was given the "hate crime awareness youth award" from our Justice Minister. In previous years we raised money for Edmonton Price Center and Trans Equality of Alberta Society. This year we are helping our homeless community and have chosen a organization that helps our cities homeless live in dignity..
