Cheyenne Schiavone

Cheyenne Schiavone /skiɑ.vɔn/, born December 4th 1988 in Paris, is a visual artist affiliated with the French contemporary art, DJ and music blogger who lives and works in Paris.

Cheyenne Schiavone grew up in Paris and studied history at the Sorbonne before devoting herself to painting, especially watercolors that she uses almost exclusively in black and white. Her work, represented by the No Mad Gallery in Paris, is exhibited in various art fairs and galleries (YIA Art Fair, Palais de Tokyo, etc.) next to other artists' such as Aki Kuroda, Akinao Saito, Alberto Sorbelli or Olivier de Sagazan.

In addition to her visual activities, in 2010 she founds the blog and collective Flesh and Bones in which she is editor and DJ, specializing in underground movements of pre-techno music (new wave, Electronic Body Music, Industrial music), playing with bands and artists such as: Adult, Antigone, Black Devil Disco Club, Die Selektion, In Trance 95, Lawrence Ho, Mondkopf Norman Nodge, The Soft Moon, Voiski, etc.

She sings several times with seminal guitarist Gary Lucas and also lends her voice to the techno music producer Antigone on Words Of Silences released in 2014 on the Dutch label Indigo Aera.
