Chhandak Pradhan

Chhandak Pradhan [b. 1985] is a freelance journalist, editorial photographer and multimedia producer based out of Calcutta, India. He started his career as a cub reporter. Few chance encounters and internships later, Chhandak now talks about himself in third person and specialises in conceptualising content for editorial projects, still and motion picture shoots, multimedia journalism along with writing features and interviews.

He has worked with British Council, Deutsche Bank, Stop TB (Italy), Save The Children (UK), Rotary International, Without A Trace (Sweden), Marie Claire, BBC Good Food, Open Magazine, Femina, The Indian Express and The Times of India. His works have been published in The Telegraph, DNA, Digital Photographer (Philippines), and Yale Journal of International Affairs.

Chhandak loves twenty-fifth letter of the alphabet, flooded roads, sticky Calcutta summer, desire, envy and things people are. He spends his spare time convincing his professor parents how a photojournalist makes more money than an investment banker!
