They say you can’t be two things at once, but I’ve always found that my love for the law and my passion for storytelling feed the same hunger: a desire to understand the world and help people navigate it.

I am Chibueze Favour Onyinyechi, a law graduate from Ebonyi State University with a dedicated interest in Energy and Petroleum law. My legal journey has been shaped by hands-on experience at firms like Olumide Babalola LP, Omaplex Law Firm, Chaman Law Firm, Hilton Top Solicitors, D. A Iduh Advocates, and St. Sen Solicitors. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a researcher for the Committee on Migration Governance and International Law (ILA Nigeria), where I worked within the research and publicity team to give a voice to poignant migration issues.

I believe storytelling is how we tell our truth and shape the world around us. Often, when I am not interning, I am usually dreaming up plot twists for my next narrative. My creative work, “For All Names Heaven Forgot to Call,” was featured in the Kalahari Review, with more works forthcoming in other publications.

In the fast-paced digital world, I’ve found a beautiful way to serve others as a Virtual Assistant. I act as a strategic partner for busy professionals and teams, managing the essential “behind-the-scenes” details so they can reclaim their time and focus on the big picture.

Currently, I am sharpening my leadership skills as an Aspire Leader with the Aspire Institute, always looking for new ways to be of service. So, dearest gentle reader, if you’re looking for a person who brings the precision of a legal professional, the soul and creativity of a writer and the efficiency of a seasoned assistant to the table, I would love to connect with you.

With love,

Onyi Chibueze. ❤️
