Chidi J. Myles (born December 13, 1999) is a Nigerian football development expert, author, leadership advocate, and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Home Of Ballers (HOBS)—a grassroots football organization focused on the development, education, and promotion of emerging football talent across Nigeria and Africa. Known for his strategic initiatives, youth-focused programs, and impactful publications, Myles is a prominent voice in grassroots football development.

Early Life and Education

Chidi J. Myles was born on December 13, 1999, in Nigeria to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Chidi Osugo. He developed a strong passion for football and youth empowerment early in life. Although he did not pursue a professional football career, his involvement in the game grew through coaching, organizing, and football education.

Myles holds a Diploma in Personal Development and Leadership from El Roy London Universityand a Professional Diploma in Administration and Managementfrom the MTF Institute of Management, Technology and Finance.

These academic achievements laid the foundation for his leadership in sports management and player development.

Career

Myles began his journey in football through local engagement and grassroots initiatives. Recognizing the need for visibility, mentorship, and structure in youth football, he transitioned into football administration, development, and education.

He has served in several leadership roles, including:

On March 1, 2021, Chidi J. Myles founded Home Of Ballers (HOBS), a football development firm focused on empowering grassroots footballers through visibility programs, education, mentorship, and strategic exposure.

Key milestones under his leadership include:

  • Hosting 9 editions of the Home Of Ballers Professional Video Coverage Program across 5 Nigerian states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja
  • Organizing 2 football development camps targeting technical and mental improvement.
  • Launching the Game Changers Conference —the first grassroots football conference in Rivers State, Nigeria.

HOBS YouTube platform hosts the largest collection of grassroots player match highlights in Nigeria, playing a crucial role in increasing the visibility of young talents to scouts and agents globally.
