Doctor in Taiwan

I received my M.D. degree from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, in 1995, and my Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine from the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, National Taiwan University, in 2008.

I completed my Family Medicine residency at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital from 1995 to 1998, and was a Visiting Staff member in Family Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, from 1998 to 1999. Now, I am Chief of the Family Medicine Department at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

I focused on the study of the natural history of colorectal cancer as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, National Taiwan University, from 2008, and have worked in the area of Epidemiology and Prevention for Metabolic Syndrome and Colorectal Cancer.

Currently, I'm an Associate Professor of Health Care Management at the Oriental Institute of Technology in Banqiao. My current research interests include Family Medicine, preventive medicine, cancer screening, geriatric medicine, adolescent health, and hospice care.
