Chika Wonah is a seasoned information security professional with over 20 years of experience in multiple industries: Financial, Consumer Packaged Goods, Gaming, Hospitality and Entertainment; and Automated Retail. Over the course of his career, Chika has established himself as a visionary and thought leader with a proven track record of successfully helping these industries protect their assets and information from cyber crime, while overcoming their challenges and meeting their objectives.

A great deal has changed since when Chika Wonah first entered the industry as an information security professional two decades ago. When the internet was in its rudimentary form, cyber attacks did not occur with the great frequency and severity they do today. The main threats typically arose from internal attacks. As technology has progressed, however, criminals have been able to commit a wide range of crimes on a much larger scale, leaving private citizens, corporations, and government entities vulnerable.

Chika Wonah’s work in cyber security has allowed him to gain a deep understanding of how technology drives business and also brings about new risks. He enjoys learning about these new technologies and uncovering how businesses can leverage these new technologies while mitigating the associated risks. Chika is particularly interested in E-commerce, Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things.
