Chris Hill
Military Officer, Comptroller Flight Commander, and Chief Financial Officer in Topeka, Kansas
Lt. Col. Christopher R. Hill is the Commander of the 190th Comptroller Flight, Forbes Field Air National Guard Base, Kansas. He serves as the principal financial advisor to the Wing and Group Commanders as well as an Assistant United States Property and Fiscal Officer for the State of Kansas. He is responsible for planning, managing, and directing the resource management activities for the Wing's $45 Million in annual funds. He also serves as the Wing Chief of Staff in which he, as the G-Series commander, is responsible for operations and wartime tasks for members of the Comptroller Flight and attached Wing Headquarters functional areas.
He resides Topeka with his wife and fellow Air National Guard Officer, Amy along with their blended family of five children, Hannah, 21; Maddy, 18; Jay, 18; Evie, 16 and Bailey 16.
Lt Col Hill has been a consistent volunteer with Phi Delta Theta since his graduation from Washburn University. Serving as Chapter Advisor, CAB Chairman, Housing Corporation President, Province President, Education Commissioner as well as serving on faculty at multiple President’s Leadership Conferences, Alumni Summits, and Leadership Colleges/Emerging Leaders Institutes. He currently serves as the Mu West Province President for Phi Delta Theta.
He also serve on the planning committee for Leadership Kansas, and is an active member of the Shrine and Masonic Lodge. In addition, he is also an adjunct professor in the School of Business at Washburn University.
In his spare time, he enjoy playing golf, running, and taking in as many of his kid’s events as possible.
Lt Col Hill is a graduate of Washburn University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications; Oklahoma State University where he earned a Master of Arts in Communication and; National Defense University earning a Master of Science in Government Leadership.
