Chimamaka Ojeh

Counselling Practitioner and Guidance Counsellor

Chimamaka Ojeh is a Guidance Counsellor and counselling practitioner with experience supporting children, young people, single adults, and married couples through emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges. Her work is grounded in empathy, ethical practice, and a deep respect for each client’s individual journey.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Benin and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Derby. Her integrative approach allows her to draw from multiple therapeutic frameworks to meet clients where they are, tailoring support to their unique needs and circumstances.

In her professional practice, Chimamaka has worked across educational and community settings, providing guidance counselling, pastoral support, and therapeutic interventions. She has supported young adults navigating identity, academic pressure, and life direction, as well as adults and couples working through communication difficulties, emotional wellbeing, and relationship growth.

Known for her calm presence and relational depth, Chimamaka creates a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. She is committed to continuous professional development and ethical practice, and she remains passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they work toward clarity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
