Filmmaking allows you to explore a variety of different mediums. Your entions can be to change the world, or perhaps to blow up cars and have attractive females. There are those that can be thought-provoking, and others that aren't. But this is what I love about this art form.
My main intentions are to become a Hollywood filmmaker. I have and plan on making as much content within that time I possibly can to perfect my craft. I have had the opportunity to generate traditional web based video content, music videos, and short films. My personal favorite videos I have produced consist of those that "parody" and/or pay homage to the content that I both love and have found inspirational in my filmmaking.
Here are a few facts about myself for you to better understand my viewpoints as a filmmaker and as a person:
- My favorite film is Toy Story 3. It showcases what the true power of storytelling is and that it can affect anyone regardless of its presentation.
- The largest inspiration for me is Steve Jobs and I'm not saying this because of Pixar. What Steve Jobs has taught me has changed and motivated me. Without him I wouldn't want to be a filmmaker.
- David Fincher is my favorite director. His eye for perfectionism is uncanny to other directors. Some of my other favorites include Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, and John Lasseter.
- Without any hesitation Conan O'Brian is my favorite late night comedian.
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is my favorite classic film. This along with Once Upon a Time in the West solidify Sergio Leone as one of my favorite classic directors.
