Now
I've always known that the breadth of the seemingly disparate interests and experiences in my life would grow into some unified experience. I'm on the cusp, and I'm excited to share this with you. Whether you engage me as a coach, spiritual director, retreat leader, pottery instructor, or massage therapist, I look forward to working with you on your journey.
Before Now
I first studied massage when I was 20. It was the wild west back then, no legislation or regulation, and I practiced for several years. I've now completed an additional 625-hour program and more than 70 continuing education hours since graduating, passed the MBLEX, and am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Beech Grove, Indiana. I bought a building, renovated it, and things are rolling right along!
I studied and taught karate for more than 15 years. I completed a 3-year Ministerial Studies Program at The Church Within and was ordained. I have a strong background in event planning and faciliation through my work at the church, and before that, at The ConferenceWorks!
I am a practicing potter, and I teach pottery at Fountain Square Clay Center. I'm an avid forager and gardener. I'm a printmaker, and I have taught printmaking in one-time and series classes.
I love weaving, working with wood, thinking about hypertufa, and picking up random pieces of debris while walking the dog.
I have a bit of a laser obsession and have been making all the things with the 55W CO2 laser I acquired as part of a grant in 2023.
The point is, none of this makes sense until it does. It finally does, and I'm ready to leverage it for something more.
A Bit More
I met my husband in 2009, and we were married in 2011. We have a ridiculously loving dog. We are, in spite of the odds, quite happy together. We've evolved together over the years, and we continue to explore life in joy. That sounds like bs, but I promise it isn't.
