A resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chitti Lekkala has worked as a quality assurance engineer for nearly a decade. As an undergraduate, Mr. Lekkala attended Andhra University in India, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Concentration in Biochemical Engineering. In addition to obtaining a Best Student award, he graduated with a 3.8 grade point average. Later, at The University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, Chitti Lekkala earned a Master’s degree in Engineering, maintaining a 3.5 grade point average.
Certified by Brainbench in software testing as well as business communication and software quality assurance, Mr. Lekkala has acquired experience in a broad array of industries, including information technology, retail, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and petroleum.
Chitti Lekkala has held quality assurance positions at firms such as at BearingPoint, Inc., Zeborg, Inc., Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Ltd., and CP Kelco. In these various roles, Mr. Lekkala has attained a high level of proficiency in multiple database and server systems, programming languages, and operating systems. He is also knowledgeable in a variety of quality assurance tools and software, such as IBM’s Rational suite of products and Lotus, as well as HP’s Quick Test Pro.
Chitti Lekkala stays active by swimming, playing volleyball and cricket, and skiing. In his free time, he also enjoys reading and painting. Involved in his community as well, Mr. Lekkala regularly volunteers at Green Tree Public Library in Pittsburgh. He recently ran a 5k race to support breast cancer research and treatments.
