Chloe O'Sullivan BSc (Econ) Hons. MBA
Hello - I’m Chloe O’Sullivan, founder of War to Peace and MD of Halcyon Global.
Like many of you, I know from personal experience the importance of being able to relate well to others and how tough life can seem when an important relationship is not working the way we’d want it to.
Having had a senior management career at a major bank for over ten years, I experienced (and unknowingly created) a great deal of conflict. I witnessed first-hand the cost to the business of people being in conflict at work, with individuals, teams and sometimes even entire departments being at war with each other. It was the single biggest factor that created failure, inefficiency and absenteeism through stress.
This is before we even consider the personal cost to each individual of blaming, fighting and justifying. When conflict is not handled well, and quickly, it escalates and can lead to employment tribunals, estrangement from loved ones, family break down, stress-related illnesses and worse.
After many years of research and practical application of what I had learned, I worked with a team of people across several countries to create a methodology called 'War to Peace'. It helps anyone to relate more effectively with the people they are struggling with, no matter how challenging or unreasonable the other person’s behaviour seems. It works for all relationships, both at home and at work.
I have now had the privilege of working with individuals and organisations all over the world and people regularly report that learning these ideas and applying them to their own situations is life changing.
It is quite the most rewarding work I've ever done and I would very much like to share it with you.
