Mark Chmarny is a cloud architect specializing in large-scale distributed systems, container orchestration, and GPU-accelerated compute. He is currently a Principal Cloud Architect in NVIDIA’s DGX Cloud organization, where he works across Kubernetes-based AI/ML platforms, high-performance GPU clusters, and multi-cloud infrastructure used for training and inference workloads. His work spans cluster lifecycle automation, GPU runtime integration, networking, storage, and performance validation for heterogeneous compute environments.
Before NVIDIA, Mark led engineering efforts at Google Cloud, Apple, and Microsoft Azure OCTO, where he designed and delivered production systems that included Kubernetes control-plane extensions, Go-based tooling and services, multi-cloud deployment frameworks, and distributed workload-management platforms. His background combines systems engineering, cloud operations, and software development with an emphasis on reliability, automation, and reproducible infrastructure.
