I am a retired IT Specialist for the V.A. My job was programming support for various hospital software programs (i.e. Radiology, etc.). I and my hubby worked at the same V.A. facility. I retired after 36 years of service an he retired with 38 years of service.

My hobbies are reading, crocheting and learning different cooking techniques now that I have the time to do so.

I met and married my hubby in Karlsruhe, Germany after graduating high school. He was in the Army and I was a 'brat'. That just means that my father was stationed there in the Army. lol

We have 1 daughter, and 2 grandsons by her. Both were born with health problems due to our daughter having Sickle Cell Anemia. We also have twin (boy/girl) grands by his first daughter.

I have started to wear my hair natural and I am now rocking sisterlocs.

As you can see I have now cut my hair has of December 2014.

I love making my own stationery for my email program called Incredimail.
