Christine Alexander

I'm a current undergraduate student at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame Indiana. I would love to utilize my academic background in economics and business management, as well as my professional background in growth strategy, creative marketing, and design thinking to support my next team with anything business development, project, and/or product management- related.

Some achievements I'm most proud of:

Completing a triathlon (2024) and an MRI installation project I managed for my local hospital. After a lot of research and price negotiations with 10+ vendors, I found a company that could provide the newest MRI with the lowest cost and no set up fees, that also can interface well with our hospital (if it doesn't, it costs the hospital money), all under a budget of $500K/ year.

How my background shaped me today:

Understanding the importance of empathetic communication, allyship, and emotional intelligence is central to who I am. My family comes from the once (and often continually) conflict-ridden Balkans-- the region my grandfather escaped from as a refugee. Though the Roma (or Romani) ethnic group is not well known in the US and despite being the most marginalized ethnic group across the EU— traditionally nomadic and hailing from Northern India— I am proud of this heritage and aspire to shed light on the positive traits and challenges Roma face today. My determination to succeed is owed in part to my family's perseverance.
