Let me take you back to 2003 i graduated from Desoto High School. After winning the state championship for the first time ever in my schools history in basketball. I knew from that moment I loved to achieve things that seemed impossible and celebrate my accomplishments with those closest to me. It was such an amazing feeling at that time in my life I knew I wanted to be great and accomplish many things. At the time I just wasn't sure what...
Fast forward a few years, I completed a couple years of college and still didn't have a clue what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be. Then disaster struck my father who i love dearly suffered a terrible heart attack I feared I would lose my dad near the end of 2005. One of the worst feelings in the world... Not to mention my childhood sweetheart had just informed me she was pregnant with my first child. I was still a child myself and still trying to figure out which way to go. I decided school would have to wait because my dad needed help staying afloat and my son would have to be cared for when he was born.
My first cousin Lakeith took me under his wing and taught me some of the most valuable lessons I've learned in my life. My cousin taught me how to be a business man. He taught me how to set goals, write them down, and visualize myself achieving them. He held me accountable day in and day out! I thank him for this to this day because without him I probably wouldn't be the man that I am today... My cousin was a hustler he didn't sale drugs, but he sold just about anything else he could by wholesale and retail for a profit. He was good at it first guy from our neighborhood to buy a Rolls Royce Phantom and a Lamborghini at the same time!
He showed me everything he knew and like a sponge I just soaked it all up. Eventually I would step out from under his wing and become one of the most admired hustlers in my area. It was an exciting time in my life the money was flowing, I owned 3 clothing and accessory stores that did really well between 2006-2009. The clothing business eventually slowed and I began looking for new ways to make ends meat. i joined 5linx the first network marketing company i would promote, but definitely not the last. I failed miseralbly not one sale not one recruit... Quit that business soon after and started my own real estate company. Bought a bunch of courses on buying tax lien properties, short sales, foreclosures, and learned just about ever
