Chris is a Bessie Award winning performer cited for her versatility. Dancing professionally for twenty-five years, she has performed works by a variety of choreographers in a variety of styles ranging from Doug Varone to Christopher Wheeldon; José Limon to Agnes DeMille; Isadora Duncan to Anthony Tudor; and Balanchine to Butoh.

She has performed in over 45 productions at the Metropolitan Opera where she has had the opportunity to work with numerous choreographers and directors as well as appear in live HD broadcasts and on PBS.

Realizing the value of yoga in a busy city, Chris became certified through OM Yoga at the 500hr level. In both dance and yoga, she allows the guiding principles of alignment, clarity, and compassion to inform her teaching. An interest in whole body wellness continues to fuel her somatic studies.
