Chris Palmer

New England, USA

I grew up in London, Ontario then moved to the US for my university days. I married in 1991 and became a father in 1996. Places I've called home include: London, Toronto, Montreal, Michigan, Paris, Virginia, Connecticut, New York and Grande Dunes in South Carolina.

I started out as a manufacturing manager, then a labor negotiator in the auto industry. Early in my career I moved to the building materials industry where I spent most of my career helping build a global company - buying, integrating, and growing businesses in North America, Africa, near-East, and Europe - and building a talent pipleine with a global footprint for the industry leader. As the HR leader for large international energy and transportation player, I was part of a global team driving growth and performance in North America, culminating in one of the largest industrial acquisitions in history by the top player in Energy infrastructure. Today I am back in the auto industry helping bring great products to market, through a great organization.

I'm a life long Maple Leaf fan and I've been playing rock, country, and classics on my guitars since I was 10 years old. I'm an active networker- mostly helping people make career decisions.

I am truly blessed with a wonderful loving family, work that I like doing, and the chance to see a lot of wonderful places and meet interesting people.
