Chris Snieckus


I have been teaching culinary arts for the past 7 years in classrooms, professional kitchens and private kitchens. One of my favorite things to teach is cooking techniques. When a person understands a cooking technique, they can then apply it to everyday food preparation and create dishes with minimal use of recipes or perhaps, no recipe at all. This will be the focus of my blog.

I am new to blogging, so it will be a learn as I go progression. I hope to post about a cooking technique once a week, which will be accompanied by a recipe to use as a guideline.

I believe everyone can learn something new about cooking whether they are a beginner or a professional. With that in mind, my blog is for everyone interested in cooking. Thank you for stopping by!
