Chris Benson is the Director of Operations for two High Voltage, Direct Current (HVDC) electrical transmission lines in the New York City area. He has been in the power generation and transmission field for over 17 years and has done EPC, commercial operations, outage planning, asset management and oversight, contract negotiations, and coordinated system studies. He is a graduate of Penn State with a Masters degree in Project Management, and is completing an MBA from Quinnipiac University. He is a graduate of the US Navy's Nuclear Power Training Command.
